Dangote Invests $9 billion In Lekki Free Trade Zone

Africa’s richest man and Chairman of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote has disclosed plans to invest more than $9 billion (about N1.53 trillion) in Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ).

Dangote said the investment, which will be committed to the development of Dangote Refineries and Petrochemical Company, would benefit at least 8,000 engineers aside from other jobs to be created.
The business mogul disclosed the new plan on Sunday after Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN) formally introduced him to the host communities signaling the formal takeoff of the multi-billion naira investment at the LFTZ [Thisday]
