FC Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic believes he has all it takes to be successful at the Camp Nou but admits it may be best for him to leave the club.
Bojan came through Barcelona’s famed La Masia
academy and was regarded as one of the club’s brightest talents but
struggled to make the grade in the first team as a youngster and has
subsequently loaned out to a number of clubs in the past three seasons.
After his recent loan spell at Dutch champions Ajax, the 23-year-old is back at Barcelona reunited with his former manager from AS Roma, Luis Enrique, who only just took over the reins at the Catalan club.
The
striker admits that while he has no doubts that he can do well for
Barça, a move away from the club could be a better option.
“I don’t have any doubts that I could play for Barça but I am not sure if it would be the best for me at this time,” he told Sport in a recent interview.
“It is a
key decision in my career and I want to value all possible options:
Barcelona, Ajax or other offers that may arrive. I do not want to rule
out anything,” Bojan added.
Bojan has attracted interest from Liverpool in previous transfer windows with Brendan Rodgers fully aware of his potential, and a summer move could be on the cards with the Reds in the market for another forward.
