The FBI are investigating the London links of a serial paedophile who admitted molesting at least 90 young boys during his 40-year career as a teacher. William Vahey, 64, killed himself in March after being exposed as a child molester by a colleague at a school in Minnesota. The school employee found a hard drive filled with "pornographic images of minor males who appeared to be asleep or unconscious". It is believed the victims are around 12 to 14 years-old. When confronted, Vahey admitted he had molested boys his whole life while on school trips after giving them sleeping pills, the FBI said.

The cow belonging to Charles Nyakiti delivered safely on Wednesday evening, having labored normally but the image of the calf has held villagers tight-lipped. The cow named Laura has now become a temporary attraction in the village as a mixture of fear and uncertainty engulf the home of Nyakiti with people from neighbouring villages streaming in to have a glimpse of what had happened. The female calf is unable to stand on its feet due to its heavy head. All its four limbs resemble hind limbs and are weak.

A new soap made from breast milk that claims to cure nappy rash is proving popular in China. The soap was invented by a new mum who found her baby son couldn't take breast milk. Instead of wasting it, she decided to make soap from it so he would still get some of the skincare benefits. The soaps are proving popular on China's answer to eBay and Amazon, Taobao. With over 500 million registered users, Taobao has some unusual items.

The soap vendor writes that her creation is good for deep-cleansing adult skin but also helps prevent nappy rash on babies. She has moulded the soaps into shapes likes teddies, rabbits, tortoises and fish. She said: "I used to pour it all down the drain, but it seemed such a waste." NHS studies show that breast milk (taken in the usual manner) improves a baby's chances of not developing skin conditions like eczema. Experts also say breast-fed babies have less chance of diarrhoea and vomiting, fewer chest and ear infections and less likelihood of becoming obese.
