Bayern Vs Barca: It Is Not Over Yet - Muller

Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller believes his side can make a statement to the world of football by overcoming Barcelona.
Pep Guardiola's side's chances of reaching the Champions League final are remote after they lost 3-0 in the first leg of the last-four tie at Camp Nou.
However, Muller is eyeing an ambitious second-leg comeback in Tuesday's return game at the Allianz Arena, which he believes would shock the rest of Europe.
"I am netiher very euphoric nor very pessimistic," he said at a press conference.
"We need to take our chances. Everyone knows that things were better before. We will have a plan.
"That first leg was a huge disappointment. But since we left Camp Nou we've wanted to make up for it. If we go through, it will be a statement for the world of football. This is the plan and it's not stupid.
"In football, many things are possible. That's why there's still hope and we still believe in ourselves. We can't expect things to go like against Porto. But that's what we need.

A man who was brutally attacked by a bull shark while swimming off the coast of New Caledonia has been identified as French national Yves Berthelot.
Mr Berthelot, 50, was on a catamaran with his friends south of the archipelago when he was killed.
His widow, Anne, paid a heartbreaking tribute to her husband on Facebook, saying 'I've lost the man of my life tonight'.

He was swimming just metres from a catamaran with his wife and friends in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday when he was bitten multiple times by a bull shark, according to Les Nouvelles Caledoniennes.
The vessel was anchored near Kouare island, which is 27 kilometres south of Ouen - a popular destination for boating tourists near Noumea, the capital of New Caledonia.
Mr Berthelot was only snorkelling 'a few dozen metres from the shore' with two other people when he was attacked, local media reported.

Hollywood Stars Hijack Dress Code Of Porn Stars In Award Events

The irony of life even shows itself at the world of entertainment. What group is supposed to dress in the most obscene manner, especially to an award event? Porn stars you would say. But the reverse is the case here. The Porn stars are better dressed and the Hollywood stars are 'making it real' behind movie cameras. Hmm, what irony?!

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Caretaker Committee, yesterday, told the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, that President Goodluck Jonathan lied to the Igbo nation about awarding contract for the construction of Second Niger bridge and major federal roads in the South East.
The committee listed Enugu-Awka-Onitsha Expressway and Enugu-Umuahia-Aba Expressway as prove of their allegation, noting that up till now, work was yet to start at the sites.
According to the committee, no financial commitment had been made by the Federal Government to commence the construction of the Second Niger Bridge, saying that those were deceptive campaign messages to Ndigbo. The committee said this during its congratulatory visit to Buhari at the Defence House in Abuja.
“This is a delegation of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Caretaker Committee, who proudly took side with you, convinced that what Nigeria needs today is the leadership that you will provide to rebuild our battered and pulverised nation,” said Chief Ralph Obioha, leader of the delegation, who spoke on behalf of the Committee.

BAYERN MUNICH CL 3-0 THRASHING: Messi Too Good - Pep Guardiola

Image result for messi scores brace against bayern munich

Pep Guardiola cannot complain. He had Lionel Messi's magic for four formidable seasons at Barcelona.

On Wednesday night, the Catalan coach was on the receiving end of the Argentine's astonishing abilities for the first time. The monster he helped create chewed up his best-laid plans.

But he won't have been surprised. In the build-up to this tie, Guardiola said: "When he plays like this, there is no defence that can stop him. It's impossible. He is used to players defending against him any way they can and he always ends up enjoying success. He is too good."

He could very well say the same after the game. As usual, Messi was too good. At this level, games are decided by the very best - and Messi is just that. "There is no more player complete than Leo," Guardiola once said. "He is the best at everything."

During his time at Camp Nou, Pep always admitted his side would be a shadow of themselves without the Argentine among their ranks. "We would be a very good team and we would be competitive," he stressed. "But we wouldn't have won all that we have."
