See New Map Of Nigeria Proposed By National Conference

A copy of the proposed map of a new Nigeria after the additional states suggested by delegates of the National conference are created has been obtained by Premium Times.


The National conference in its final report had recommended the creation of 18 additional states to bring the number of states in the country to 54.
Some Northern delegates had initially kicked against the creation of more states apart from the one proposed for the South-East which was overwhelmingly supported.

U.K AUTHORITIES BAR BISHOP OYEDEPO FROM ENTERING U.K, AS CHARITY COMMISSION INVESTIGATES HIM

NIGERIAN Pastor David Oyedepo has been barred from entering the UK by the British Home Office following the commencement of investigations into his affairs by the UK Charities Commission.
Bishop Oyedepo, popularly known as Papa by his followers, has been under investigation by the Charities Commission since 2012. Investigators are looking into the activities of his Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel and the way it gets money from parishioners.
Preliminary enquiries have accused the UK branch of Winners Chapel, run by Bishop Oyedepo’s son, of cynically exploiting supporters. As a result of the investigation, the Home Office has instructed the British High Commission in Abuja to issue what is known as an Airline Alert, which bars any carrier from bringing him into the UK.

BOKO HARAM: IGBO LEADERS ALERT FG ON PLANNED ATTACKS ON S'EAST


Igbo Leaders have urged the Federal Government to ensure ‘desperate attempts’ by Boko Haram insurgents to bomb the South-East does not materialise, warning that a successful attack in the region portended grave danger for the country.


In a statement by Evang. Elliot Uko, Deputy Secretary of the Igbo Leaders of Thought (ILT), entitled ‘The calm before the storm’, the tribal leaders described as worrisome the Sallah day arrest in Borno State of a long trailer laden with bombs and IED’s disguised as cattle merchants headed for Onitsha and Port Harcourt.
